Because the next generation will debut with the 2021 model year, the 2020 Cadillac Escalade isn’t due to receive many upgrades. But there are a few minor changes that stand out about the upcoming model.
One of the new features on the 2020 Cadillac Escalade is the addition of a new exterior color, Dark Mocha Metallic, which is standard on the top-level Platinum trim and available on all other trims. Two other colors were retired, Manhattan Noir Metallic and Bronze Dune Metallic. Another change is the removal of the Noir Package, which included special floor mats, a polished exhaust tip, and chrome finish on the wheels.
The 2020 Escalade will also remove two rear seat entertainment options, leaving only one package that includes a 9-inch display, DVD player with Blu-ray capability, two pairs of wireless headphones, HDMI inputs, and CD-R and MP3 capability. This package is available on the Luxury trim and standard on the Premium Luxury and Platinum trims.
The options on the 2020 Escalade are somewhat simplified from the 2019 model year but otherwise are almost entirely the same, so if you’re a fan of the current generation, check out the 2020 when it debuts this fall. It will most likely have a limited run before the 2021 Escalade comes out next year, so don’t miss it.
