The Cadillac XT6 was an all-new model for the 2020 model year. Now, just one year later, this three-row crossover is getting updated with a new trim level, more color options, and even a new engine choice.
For the 2021 model year, the XT6 will have a new base trim level named Luxury. The Premium Luxury and Sport trims will still be available. With a new base trim level, the XT6 will be more affordable. Cadillac says the new trim will cover “20 percent of the midsize luxury SUV segment price range.”
Along with the new trim option, you will also be able to choose from among three new exterior color options, Infrared Tintcoat, Dark Moon Blue Metallic, and Wilder. With these additions, there will be a total of 12 exterior color options available.
The final upgrade for the 2021 Cadillac XT6 is a new engine option. It is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 237 horsepower. It will come paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 3.6-liter V6 with 310 horsepower will still be available.
In addition to these updates, the 2021 XT6 will still offer plenty of standard features including a suite of advanced driver safety aids, a power liftgate, an 8-inch touch screen, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
The 2021 XT6 will be available this fall, and you can take it out for a test drive when you visit Atzenhoffer Chevrolet Cadillac in Victoria, Texas
