Every year, the American Customer Satisfaction Index measures the satisfaction of U.S. customers across 46 different industries to find which out of 400 companies bring the most satisfaction to its clients. Recently, the ACSI published its 2019-2020 Automobiles & Light Vehicles report. We were proud to hear that Cadillac got second place in mass-market and luxury brands alike.
ACSI collects data throughout the year and focused on interviews for the Automobiles and Light Vehicles category between July 2019 and June 2020. The study talked to customers who had recently purchased or leased a new car within the last six to 36 months. Data is delivered on a 100-point scale.
While many luxury brands have seen their ratings decline in these studies, Cadillac continues to excel. It was one of just two American brands that scored higher than the industry average 78 points, the other being Ram. Cadillac came out in second place with 80 points, tied with four other automotive brands: Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Ram, and Toyota.
However, some of these other second-place winners had a bigger drop from their ACSI score in the year prior, which suggests that Cadillac is more consistent with its high quality of services and product.
